Regrettably Marauding terrorist attacks (MTA) or MTFA involving firearms, knives and, or weaponised vehicles continue to be a credible and increasing threat. These events have shocked the world and necessitate specialised equipment, preparation and training.
Technical Rescue International draws on an experienced cadre of multi agency trainers including HCPC Paramedics, NILOs, specialist Police and Fire service Units and military personnel to deliver challenging, realistic and engaging courses in a supportive learning environment. This includes the use of ‘live casualties’ and moulage/casualty make up to simulate injuries.
Interoperability and interagency working is central to every course we deliver covering all aspects of deployment and response, including but not limited to, incident management / command and medical intervention in a mass casualty context, aligned against JESIP Principles.
Course Progression
Courses have been developed and refined to encompass all types of marauding terrorist attack with reference to recent incidents, injury patterns, effective deployment of available resources and the latest Home Office guidance.
All courses are regularly reviewed after any significant event to take account of emerging patterns or potential trends and will be tailored to suit the specific needs of the client and the service they represent be it Military, Police, Ambulance or Fire service or for those working in areas or at venues which may be at heightened risk of such an attack.
